GreenFields is a specialist in sports turf technology with longstanding experience in the development, manufacturing, construction and installation of natural, hybrid and synthetic turf systems. Our UK team based in Horwich is seeking to appoint a dynamic, experienced Sales Manager who is commercially driven with strong leadership skills and the ability to successfully reach sales targets and lead on the expansion of our market share.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To create an Annual Sales Plan highlighting clear targets and goals to develop the UK market share.
  • Contribution to market and product development.
  • Supporting key UK marketing activity including an input into relevant marketing collateral as well as attendance at seminars and exhibitions throughout the year.
  • Coordinating with the Inside Sales team an ongoing calendar of sales meetings with potential clients across the UK and ensuring an organised diary to enable attendance at these followed by detailed feedback to the office so that follow up actions can be taken.
  • Supporting with tender submissions by completing relevant documents and providing the office team with relevant information.
  • Putting together quotes for clients with the Inside Sales team and acting as final sign off for cost sheets that are prepared for tenders.
  • Analysing relevant market data including competitor information and GreenFields UK sales figures to enable market development.
  • Leading on sales negotiations with potential clients and margin decisions on each project.

Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience.
Start: Immediately.
Travel: Weekly UK travel along with occasional overseas travel.
