Area Sales Managers:  Vacancy 1- South West England. Vacancy 2 – South East England

Job Description

The primary role of the Area Sales Manager is to plan and prioritise, within a given Area, sales activities and customer / contact prospecting to achieve allocated revenue and margin targets. Specific activities include:-

Plan and manage personal business portfolio / area / business according to an agreed market development strategy
.
Manage product mix, pricing and margins according to agreed targets.

Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.

Use customer and prospect contact activity tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems in accordance with the Company’s requirements.

Plan /carry out / support local marketing activities, integrating personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.

Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.

Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.

Record, analyze, report and administer according to systems and requirements.

Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.

Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.

Adhere to health and safety policy, code of conduct and other requirements when operating in both Lightmain and client environments.

Working well within a team environment.
