Education & Training
Since its formation the central role of the Sports and Play Construction Association (SAPCA) has been to promote high standards of sports and play facilities across the UK. SAPCA in collaboration with many organisations have produced a range of training and education opportunities suitable for many individuals and companies.
Qualifications include NVQs and Certificate in Management and Leadership.

Why should our company take part?
The primary aim for the qualifications is to raise the quality and standard of the industry by investing in its workforce. The nationally recognised qualifications will provide, for the first time, an opportunity for companies to demonstrate the skill level and knowledge of its workforce. It will help highlight areas in need of development and lead to improved productivity.
Many governing bodies from within sport are fully supportive and have expressed a desire for the industry to embrace the new educational programme. Consequently, as uptake in the qualifications increase it is envisaged companies with employees qualified will have an advantage over those without when tendering for public funded projects.
