a synthetic turf pitch or athletics track - a quality assurance that is only available from SAPCA.

Benefits of the Scheme

  • Promotes Construction Quality
  • Ensures Installation Complies With Codes Of Practice
  • Site Inspections During Construction
  • Complaint Resolution Service
  • Members All Meet Strict Criteria
  • Supports High Standards Of Customer Service
  • Technical Advice And Guidance

How Does It Work?

All synthetic sports pitch and athletics track projects (over 3000 m2) that are built by SAPCA's Pitch Division or Track Division members are registered by the member with us.

On a selection of these projects, SAPCA will undertake random site inspections to ensure projects are constructed and completed to the high standards we expect of our members.

The Scheme ensures that the construction specifications and standards comply with SAPCA’s Codes of Practice.
Once projects are complete, we request feedback from clients to establish their level of satisfaction.

Should the need ever arise SAPCA is able to assist with technical concerns through its complaint resolution service. The Pitch and Track Registration Scheme ensures that, collectively, standards of sports facilities across the industry continue to be raised.
