Tiger AG Wins Best Stand Prize

Artificial grass manufacturer Tiger AG was awarded the prize for the best exhibition stand at SAPCA’s Sports Facility Construction event in Cheltenham last week.

The Tiger AG team is pictured receiving its prize - a magnum of champagne - from Nick Lockwood, Sport England’s Senior Development Manager in the South West Region. Nick, who presented a session on Sports Facility Funding at the seminar, had the difficult task of choosing the winner with his colleagues from Sport England.

The Cheltenham event was the second of four one-day regional exhibitions and seminars being presented by SAPCA during 2002, with events to follow at Hibs FC in Edinburgh on 24 September and at Epsom Racecourse, Surrey on 26 November. The show proved to be very popular with visitors, and attracted an audience from as far away as Plymouth to Halifax, and Cardiff to Hertford.
