Stadia's Golden Girl

Commonwealth Gold medallist Ellen Alexander, Marketing Co-ordinator for Stadia Sports, was one of the many well-known faces to be seen on the Stadia Stand at the IOG Saltex 2002 exhibition last week. Many of the premiership’s top groundsmen, including Tottenham’s Darren Baldwin and Arsenal’s Paul Burgess, came to see the Stadia staff.

They were joined by hundreds of customers, both new and existing, who visited Stadia’s action-packed stand. Over 100 orders were taken and many sales leads were generated throughout the three days of the exhibition.

Soames Springthorpe, Sales Director for Stadia said: “Saltex 2002 has been very successful for us in terms of the quality and quantity of orders received and enquiries made. As always, our full-colour, 132-page sports equipment catalogue proved to be immensely popular, as did our show special offers”.

A variety of equipment, including football and hockey goals, a sample of Stadia’s new pvc hockey backboard, a new rugby post protector and a selection of games nets were displayed on the Stadia stand. It was, however, the comprehensive range of safety and maintenance information and recommendations, which impressed many of Stadia’s visitors.
