The project included the construction of 3 AMB Sportdek textured Macadam courts to the all England Netball Association standards. Gary Stevens fronted football master class coaching sessions, exhibited a selection of his England caps and conducted an active question and answer forum with the pupils and P.E Staff. Andy Jennings, Head of PE at Caterham High School said “It is an honour for us that Gary will be officially opening our new pitch and the coaching sessions which he will be running will be hugely beneficial to the students involved. The new pitch will greatly enhance the school facilities and be a fantastic addition to the school and the local community”.
Dr Alan Atkins, Head teacher at Caterham High School said “we are delighted with the new surface and the significant opportunities it offers to our students and the local community”. |
