Cleveland Land Services (CLS) started trading in 1968 as a reclamation contractor and has extended its operations to include landscaping, civil engineering, sports field construction, maintenance & drainage (natural & synthetic) becoming a limited company in 1978.  With over 40 years experience in the trade, CLS are committed to providing a professional service which is based upon integrity, reliability and a highly trained workforce.

The company is constantly striving for the highest levels of accuracy and has invested heavily in technology to both undertake accurate formation construction and carry out comprehensive site surveys to include the provision of complete as-built project data.

CLS now operate the only mini Laser Grader in the UK; the inclusion of this within our fleet has positively impacted the speed and quality on the build of both dynamic and engineered surfaces.

CLS are aware of its responsibilities towards ethical procurement and sustainability and consider the associated risks and implications for society and the environment when purchasing materials and goods for contracts.

By recognising staff keys skills, CLS has been able to provide a constant supply of multi disciplined staff who may specialise in certain key areas.

CLS have recently completed numerous BSF (Building Schools for the Future) Contracts for Laing O’Rourke, Miller Construction, Willmott Dixon, Carillion, Hull City Council (NPS), Balfour Beatty and Morgan Sindall throughout the North of England.
