Playtop^® impact-absorbing playground surfacing is designed to minimise risks of injury to children who fall from play equipment.  Playtop^® is the most advanced product in its field.  After holding the UK market leadership for over 30 years, it is now marketed by trained and licensed installers in a growing number of other countries.  More than one and a half million square metres of Playtop^® have been installed worldwide.

At the beginning of 2005, Playtop signed an agreement with Nike to use its Nike Grind product within black Playtop^® .

The company is one of a handful of partners worldwide that Nike has linked up with and is the only ‘playground’ company to be involved in the programme. The relationship with Nike applies not only to Playtop in the UK but also to all its licensees in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

It makes sense that Nike would team up with Playtop, Europe’s leading specialist in playground surfacing. Both companies are dedicated to excellence in their relevant fields and both are committed to bringing improvements to the environment and local communities in which they operate.

Playtop^® is a porous material made from rubber granules and polyurethane binders.  It is mixed and laid on site as a wet-pour product and offers imaginative design solutions incorporating a huge range of colours.
